I told you...

It was so lovely to see my Grandma Peggy for lunch with Dad today. We headed to her house and stayed there for a little bit having a chat. Grandma was so chatty that she didn’t even notice me taking this photograph…the only annoying thing was that she was so animated that a lot of my photographs that I took had motion blur! But the photograph I chose I really like, it makes me smile quite a lot when I see it!

So the place we went for lunch is an old favourite of Grandma’s, and one that I have frequented before. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by their new menu and would definitely go back there again now. The waiters are very attentive, but whether that was because I was the only female in the Italian restaurant under the age of thirty, or maybe they just loved their customer service!

Skype with ma belle Laura was just what I needed for the end of the day. I’m pretty certain we haven’t spoken for at least a month or so, and have been trying for quite a few weeks to get a time which coincided with each other! After having done a few all-nighters to get an essay finished Laura was knackered, but we still managed to talk for over an hour before we were joined by Tobias to start discussing many many different topics, the main one possibly being my plans to go to Munich at the end of this year. Cannot wait.
