The Summer Isles

Another wonderful cycle. Around the cost near Achiltibuie overlooking the Summer Isles.

Stunning scenery. As well as looking over to the Summer Isles we looked west to the Outer Hebrides and inland, the incredible mountain scenery of Assynt loomed over us.

This North West corner is one of my favourite parts of Scotland. I defy anyone to be umoved by it. You may love it, you may hate it but if you have no response I fear you may be dead.

To top it off we had shortbread straight out of the oven at the Piping centre cafe. A good cycle should, by law, always include excellent homebaking.
