Lunch in the sun

Despite an evening that involved the creation of a new cocktail*, a not too late night and fabulous sleep in the dark and the quiet meant we were fairly perky this morning. Morning outing to catch the end of a horse show and a highly successful shopping trip to the vide grenier (car boot sale) for all. Then back to our friends' house for a lovely lunch in the sun before way too soon we had to pack up and head to the airport.

Various things transpired to make the journey not the pleasantest ever so we will gloss over that and look at this and remember a great weekend.

Oh, and if it needed anymore, Downton Abbey.
