Old mill

A few hundred years ago there were five working water mills on this hillside outside the village with the stream which worked them running down from La Resclauze, the spring at the top of the hill. Flour and olive oil were milled here. This is the remains of one of them. They are lovely old buildings. The municipal council claims to have plans to restore them but unfortunately seems more interested in cutting down trees and building new roundabouts.
