Kilmichael Ruin
The weather was supposed to be very good today so we headed for Kilmichael where I shot this photo of a ruined and crumbling relic of the days when there was a permanent coast guard look out post on the headland. No sooner had I shot this than the weather closed in a bit and we abandoned plans to go South along the coast. Instead we went North, running ahead of the cloud, to Brittas Bay where we found a huge plantation of Buckthorn bushes which in many cases are as big as small trees. All in fruit at this time of year too. Photos of same in my Blipfolio.
