Festival of the voice

It was a busy morning this morning. As we drove over to Stourhead, we passed cyclists who were taking part in time trials. When we got to the entrance to the gardens, a road race was about to start. And when we went in, we discovered that the festival of the voice was taking place, with local choirs singing in different locations around the grounds. This event is taking place every Sunday this month (and being repeated in December with seasonal songs - one for the diary, I think!)

And for the first time ever, we walked across the palladian bridge - it's normally barricaded off.

In other news, I made a Mocha Marble Loaf Cake from last year's Great British Comic Relief Bake Off booklet - it's my sons' top favourite!
