Aberdeenshire Big Sky

Sam had me driving on a wild goose chase down country back roads I've never driven on before, after getting his sky shot tonight for his art homework. My capture doesn't do justice to the sunset; Aberdeenshire big skies can be really lovely. We saw our first gibbering Geese flying overhead today, no doubt heading to Loch of Strathbeg. It was a total Indian Summer day, with a balmy warm breeze in the morning, so the garden got some much needed TLC once I'd stopped slovenly lying on the sofa in the morning, recovering from the day before.
