Hangovers and children

Don't mix much.

An early start despite a late night, and a heavy head to start the day. Bit annoyed with myself as it felt a bit of a tough day for all of us, surely not helped by the tiredness. Weekends are so precious at the moment that I feel guilty if I'm not on top form to enjoy our time together. That said, we had a very sociable day, rounded off with an impromptu BBQ to enjoy the unexpectedly balmy weather. Girls were exhausted and I'm hoping it was just that and not the beginning of an illness that made bathtime tearful and fraught. Big week ahead work wise, but the last one before hols - hurray!
