A soft grey day, I don't know what happened to the promised heat wave...

We had an easy morning, then this afternoon a friend and her son and my daughter and her family came by. The adults spent several hours strimming the irises which are taking over our meadow. I cooked for them all, beef curry followed by blackberry and apple crumble.

Now feeling relaxed and replete.
