Turkish delight

These are some of the beautiful flowers still blooming in Turunc. This is the last day of our holiday, we fly home tomorrow.

It's been a very special day for my good friend June, as today she joined the "granny" club with the birth of her first granddaughter. The baby was due 10 days ago but fortunately timed her entrance in a way that didn't interrupt our holiday ! No doubt though the new granny will be off to Edinburgh as soon as she can to meet this new human being. Thanks to technology we have been enjoying many photos of her, and her ecstatic parents and so shared her first day on the planet. A blessing indeed!
