Feathered Friends!

I feel that I am really getting to know and recognise some of my feathered friends. The mallards, swans and geese usually allow me to approach without fearing for my life but the slightest sound or sense of movement and the lapwings are away. I've to blip the lapwing from some distance so sadly the clarity is not as good as I would like it to be. If only I had the patience of the true wild life photographers who sit/stand for hours waiting for that one shot.
