Cakes, Colored Leaves, & Celebrations for C

Today is our daughter's birthday and we had a family celebration. As far as I remember, there were only two of her birthdays when the weather was less than optimal, so we usually celebrate outdoors. This year was no exception. We had a summer temperature of 26 degrees just hours before the equinox. It's a beautiful time of the year with autumn colors. Her favorite cake is carrot cake - also seasonal!
