I've Got the Hump.

Just as we were ready to go out this afternoon an old friend turned up. I didn't have the heart to say we were on our way out, so a few hours later i looked for an emergency blip. This is it. My father bought these back from North Africa while he was serving in WW11. He bought back one each for my two brothers. When i was about four he recalled this story to me and i said why didn't you bring one back for me? He obviously couldn't tell me i wasn't even a twinkle in his eye then. They are looking a bit worse for wear now, but they are made of leather and i wouldn't part with them for anything. J is going to restitch them for me and oil the leather. He also brought back leather covered photograph albums, and they have hieroglyphics on the front covers. They are full of his war photographs. Priceless.
