waterloo (place) sunset

i didn't think of the title til about five minutes ago when i was thinking of what to call the shots as i uploaded them to my computer - d'oh...

taken from the top of waterloo place, anyway, while i was on the way into town to take 70 quid off a bloke i've never met in return for an envelope. good job the cops are busy moving beggars off the tourist streets, could've looked dodgy! nah, i found a buyer for one of my spare u2 tickets is all (if you want the other one, for hampden, holler by lunchtime!)

just walking and talking is nice - like i said, flashback to old times when we did that a couple of times a week; it's nice to just hang out, gossip/vent about work, and be comfortable in each other's company. too rare these days (and i can't disagree, your job is a 'mare that affects everything around you - but it's a job for now, and there are routes out of it to better places if you are as determined to get out as you were to get in). somewhere along the line this part got forgotten, and tho i knew i missed it til it came back i didn't realise how much i'd missed and how important it was - more than anything, i always say, but tonight i know what i mean when i say that. i hope you missed it too, and that you'll work to get it back - can't do it without you.
