The Old Block Place

This Victorian mansion was built by one of the founders of the Block Brothers Tobacco Co. Their biggest products were "Mail Pouch Chewing Tobacco"and "Swisher Sweet Cigars".
The house has, for many years, been converted into individual rooms or small apartments for the elderly. The building has retained it's slender while offering a comfortable and safe place for older folks to live together in an independent manner.
