Was messing about with some thread fluff that I found on my coat. Made a nice haze around the light, but my camera did struggle to focus on it accurately.

Today's been an up & down day. Not sure quite why but I've been in a foul mood since I woke up, which I'm blaming on my headache that's developed since then. Went with Craig to look at kitchen worktops but arrived at 12.02pm and the placed closed at 12.00pm. Craig was (understandably) angry and it took the wind out of our sails a bit. Ended up driving to Magnet to look at their range instead and then the car wouldn't start. Again.

Managed to start it somehow and drove to B&Q to see their range again and find out if we could pick up door hinges & fittings. Turns out you can't as they all come as part of the cabinets. Great stuffs. Then the car wouldn't start again but somehow managed to get it going (this immobiliser problem is such a pain in the ARSE!!!!). Decided not to go to Tesco and swapped over so that I drove us straight to my next placement hospital in order to practice the route. The drive was fairly uneventful but it made me realise quite how far away it is!! It's 27 miles each way, so I'm just praying my car will behave.

Came home and chilled out on the couch for the rest of the evening watching ER and Bleach. I meant to paint some bottles for decoration in the spare room and decided to have a bash at them. I think you're supposed to mix the paint to your correct shade first, but I was also told to squirt directly into the bottle. So I did... and the result I got is better than the original idea I was going for! I'll upload a photo tomorrow once they have dried :)
