Last bloom

Went on a favourite dog walk this evening with Meg and it's almost all greens and yellows - autumn is almost here but i did spot this little flower hiding away amongst the lush green. Busy day today - had to go shopping for something claret & blue to wear to the funeral of a dear, dear friend who was a lifelong West Ham fan and we are being asked to wear the teams colours to help celebrate his life, if we can. Then had to drop my youngest lad off at his part-time job (which fits around his college course) and then wait to pick him up after 11pm - he was running late and so we were forced to wait in the pub (Danny's working in the kitchens) and have a glass of wine to kill the time, shame. xx
