Letting go

Interesting as I took this photo when I returned from the hospital after John's dad was admitted into ICU. I had sat and pondered- and come to the conclusion that sometimes, things are just not for you to decide or control. They are simply out of your hands and feel very random at times. Moments later, the phone rang and it was the hospital telling me that Guy was in cardiac arrest. By this same time the next night, we had lost him. So quick and unexpected- and so wishing I could control the entire situation:(
