Canoe capers

Today's the day ........................ for outdoor activity

There were a whole lot of things going on in the canal today.

We were quietly pottering away in our narrowboat, not moving very far and enjoying some time in Devizes. There were fishermen casting their lines into the water hoping for a catch. There were the usual joggers, dog walkers and cyclists on the towpath - using it to get from A to B.

And then there was a whole class of children, split into threes, learning how to paddle a canoe and occasionally managing to get it going in the right direction ...................
