Cape Henry Lighthouse

This light house is on the southern tip of Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach. It is tauted as the first item for which Congress appropriated funds after the constitution. Date: 1792. It is aboard Fort Story, a joint base with Navy Little Creek.

This is a pretty simple photograph, just the lighthouse, the sky and the bushes. I did my best at the light....it was noon.
