Testing Macro on Moth

Out and about via the bus this morning to run some errands.

I located this Moth/Butterfly thingy flapping around a bed of flowers.

He seemed to want his picture taken, so I took it.

I'm thrilled the macro ability on the camera works well.
Now I can continue to look for close up shots.

As long as there are no stingy bugs buzzing about I'll be ok.

Since these flowers were by a busy roadway, it was best for me to move along.
Running about from a bee here (norm for me) felt an unsafe act to try.

But!
I did get some pictures of a bee while garden sitting last week.
They have been lost on my SD card:-)
