Skeletons

I did parkrun this morning, an okay time (I think training for longer runs has improved my stamina but not my speed), while Mr Rat was at a meeting. Then a few odd jobs until he came home for lunch.
This afternoon we went to Perth and had a brisk walk of about 6 miles over Kinnoull and Deuchny Hills. It's beginning to look a bit autumnal and these skeletons caught me eye.
I tried several ways of photographing them, this was the best of the bunch.

P.S. Thanks for your comments on yesterday's pic, the tinted monochrome won. I'll try a proper portrait of the flower in colour, weather permitting
