Indulgent ....

My favourite clothes shop had a special evening so I 'dragged' a friend along and we both indulged! I had tokens to use which was my excuse.

Then we ate in a French restaurant which was in an old David Greig's grocer's shop building and all the original fittings had been kept, so lots of marble shelving and tiles made for a great decor. A lovely meal and company too.

Don't know much about David Greig and must google more info but do know he and J.Sainsbury were rivals and agreed not tot have a shop in the same road. Mutual respect ruled!
