Pond - Bidborough Kent.
I've lived in Bidborough for over 20 years, but have never seen this pond before - hence the title.
I started my journal on 1st January, so today is day 264 and I have to admit that without a supply of willing flowers, furry animals and sundry family members who might agree to pose, it's getting harder and harder to find the daily picture. To compensate for this, I find myself getting bolder and bolder in respect of approaching people or gaining access to land. So why am I telling you all this?
Well, on the western edge of the village there is a small newish development, but the access road, which is private, continues on down into the valley. I decided to be bold and followed it a short way, whereupon I saw a man and boy doing some clearing-up work on the perimeter of their field.
Now here's the con..... acting as though I was a stranger to the area, I enquired if it was a public right of way. "No"- of course not- as I well knew! But "Could I take a few pictures anyway please?" "Certainly - help yourself"
So I found a new pond. You might need to view LARGE to see it.
Hope you are still awake enough to like it!
