Mary's swansong

This is part of the final Harvest arrangement to be done by Mary, whose 90th birthday I featured last Saturday. She has such an eclectic collection of things that she uses so creatively - I love the way she's matched the curtain design in with the designs on the fan. A clever lady whose creations will be much missed!

Today has been very hectic with a double size news sheet to type (just too many articles for the normal 2 pages!) and phone calls and cooking and shopping. It's all worked out well though :-)

We have a Harvest meagre lunch in aid of Tear Fund tomorrow at church. The idea is that you give the money you would have spent on a more lavish lunch to the charity. It looks as though it's going to be well supported.
