A walk in the woods

I went for a walk around the wood today, just to make sure all was ok.
I crept in as quietly as i could, but the Fallow deer were downwind of me, the green woodpecker sounded the alarm and the pigeons are not quite as stupid as i would like.
This kind Munjak posed long enough for me.

I felt quite refreshed after my wanderings and able to cope with a tired 10 year old the next day after her long day trip to France.
