A cold and frosty morning....

.....not that we leaders cared, because we spent the night in our swanky new Force 10 tents (the king of tents). Made in Glasgow, they are made of stern stuff and have a life expectancy greater than your average Glasgow male. Further up the hill, our intrepid Scouts had spent the night under tarpaulin. Glad to report, most of them made it through the night.

Elsewhere, the Yes squad were rallying on Calton Hill to the strains of cheesy soft rock and Margo McDonald. I've a lot of sympathy with their cause, but they need to distance themselves from rock ballad music if they want my vote. I didn't fight in the technotronic wars for nothing.
