Hummers In / On A Cage!

The actual quality of the photos of these birds is poor, but I wanted to give you some perspective on their size.

For those of us who shoot hummingbirds, we usually crop them to look larger, or in the case of this shot, get right up close. So they seem to be larger than they are.

It's one thing to say they are only three or four inches long, it's another to see them from a slightly longer distance.

The feeder in the cage is about a foot tall. Now that's perspective.
