Memorial

A memorial over Faroese men lost at sea during WWII Faroe Islands was the country who lost most men, compared to the population. Most of them died while supplying the UK with fish. The Faroese ships could not use Danish flags, since Denmark was occupied by Germany. The British government said that the Faroese fleet should use their own flag. They have done that since... Enough history, but there are strong ties between UK and the Faroes.
