IT IS AS FAR BACK AS I GO . . . . . . .

meantime; thanks to this entry in the Family Bible, we have established that my family was able to afford a significant Bible, lived in Edinburgh and had a son married to one Elizabeth Urquhart from which union stemmed our family, to date six generations, culminating so far with the youngsters Sarah, Ewan, Oscar and Jana.
It is hard to find the family records prior to 1766, and I have tried, but without success so far. No doubt I'll get back to it some day but may need the help of a professional researcher so as the saying goes, "We'll have to see".
This of course is a Friday monochrome entry.
PS--- how do you stick a page back into an C18th Bible (only joking!)
