Early weekend creativity

I enjoy doing something creative like this every now and then although I know it isn't to most people's taste.....but it's the weekend. This is an old bisque doll's head from Germany with a feathery hairstyle using gorgeous, well in my opinion, black antique feathers from the 1930s that I picked up in Texas (I intend to make something fun to wear with these). The whole "look" is completed with feather butterflies, inspired by some amazing butterfly shots I have seen on blip over the last week. Apparently we have had record levels of butterflies this year.

I've been feeling this, this week. Life and all that....
