The naming of parts

When I bought my DSLR I resolved not to use it on Auto or scene modes as I really wanted to learn how to use it properly.

So, what is my first homework from my college photography course?

1. Take a portrait using portrait mode.
2. Take an action shot using action mode
3. Take a night time shot using night mode

We had an activity in which we had to name all the camera parts, hence the title of my blip.
