Look in to my Eyezz

Today was a last ditch attempt of the dragonfly in close up. J said we didn't have a chance. Well, off we went to Parc Slip Reserve this afternoon. We waited a while by one of the small ponds and lo and behold this little lady obliged. Again i took lots and lots of photos as it doesn't keep still for long. We think it's a lady as after about fifteen minutes of marking her territory, a male flew down and off they went together to make whoopie. We didn't see them again so they were obviously having a good time. Ah, a happy ending. I thought that they were gentle creatures but one of the park attendants said they are quite predatory, and they eat butterflies. I have gone off them now as i have a thing for butterflies.
