GIFT from the PAST
Today I have another ‘emergency blip’. I thought I was all set with a moth I’d photographed earlier in the afternoon. I never got around to downloading those shots until after 7:30 this evening, when I found they had no redeeming quality. Next I was relieved to find the cardinals back at the feeder, but it was well past ‘dusk’ so those shots were impossibly dark. What to do? I decided on this little enameled metal sculpture I’d given to my mother many years ago when I became the age she was when I was born. I remember thinking then that I sure wouldn’t be happy about having another child at that age, so I thought how lucky I was that she’d been happy about me! And we lived happily ever after…. :-)
