"Old Sarum"
Clear night, at last, up again at Old Sarum, the hill fort just north of Salisbury, with a near two minute exposure.
The lens maybe wide but not wide enough to include the full moon, just out of shot on the left. By the time of the next shot, the small amount of cloud had gone and to me, this is what has made this one, the way it rushes out of the frame.
The mono treatment in this version has really brought out the stars - check these out on LARGE
Lens is Nikkor 10-24mm.
It's also good to get back to a Blip that I'm really happy with - that hasn't been the case since this circular fisheye mono; some have been OK but most have been a compromise to some extent.
I'm experiencing major problems with my Blipfeed at the moment, not always telling me of new subscribers, favourites etc. My email notifications are even worse, where it seems that I've been sending myself hearts and subscribing to myself! I have notified Blip Technical, but in the meantime, big apologies if I miss anybody that I should be thanking.
Weekend almost on us, again and with possibly chasing the moon now out of my system, at least until next time, maybe some Blips taken during 'normal' hours, for a change, for the weekend?
Hope you're all well, my dear fellow Blippers!
