Guarding the Rolls

The Abergavenny Food Festival Fanfare feast has been and gone, the new decorations unveiled, some great food eaten, some brilliant costumes displayed, and a thoroughly good time enjoyed. Unfortunately my camera (or me, or both) were not able to do it justice, so here from earlier in the day, is a picture of the Rolls Royce that lurked just within the entrance to the Market Hall to set off the theme of The Great Gatsby for the evening. It was being cleaned by ts owner in preparation for the night's festivities, and his newly acquired rescue dog was tethered to the front bumper while he did. She looks fierce (to me), but was actually rather timid. We must not judge by looks alone.

Cathaber has blipped here the gorgeous canopy of the Market Hall plus new decorations, and I'm sure we will be able to do elements of it more justice in better lighting conditions in the coming days!
