Open Wide

Jimmy Boyle has been my dentist for a long time. Today he was once again called into action to repair a damaged filling - he has his challenges in dealing with my set of ivories but I think he sees me as a personal challenge!

I must say, though, that his skill with a high speed drill is matched only by his finely tuned sense of humour and joke-telling ability.

Today's example...

"if you say the word gullible slowly, it sounds like elephant."

and he's got many, many more jokes of equal quality at the ready to calm even the most nervous of patients.


And if you are wondering - yes that is a light on the end of his drill!
