Daisy & Bella in the market

Last day but one for our delightful visitors, so kept my promise to our favourite barrow boy and took them to see him again at the market. All male eyes followed them (quite a few envious female gazes too), people tried to catch their attention by singing to them, risking a few words in English - or just offering strawberries etc.

Otherwise a busy day - doctors in the morning and preparing for a meeting of choirs in the evening. Lovely visitors not only made all the sandwiches, but also secretly prepared wonderful gluten-free chocolate cupcakes with a doce de leite (thickened condensed milk) filling and a strawberry on top to greet us when we returned, exhausted, from our singing.

Think I'll hide their return tickets.
