ELEPHANT PARADE

Went to the dentist this afternoon - just a check up and to see the hygienist. Hate all the opening wide and the prodding, poking and scraping. Was glad when it was over. Luckily everything was fine.

Afterwards I went to The Metrocentre. Got some T shirts and socks in Primark and a couple of pairs of trousers in Sports Direct.

Wandered around the malls looking at the elephants - Elephant Parade is on national tour and it arrived at The Metrocentre on Monday. ELEPHANT PARADE is a colourful, worldwide public art exhibition showcasing unique elephant sculptures decorated by talented artists, designers and celebrities. The one in my blip is called " Blossom and Birds " by Joanna Martin. I manged to see 18 of the elephants - it was difficult to choose just one to blip. I will definitely go down again and see the rest of them before they move on to another location.

Weather today has been changeable - sunny, rainy, warm and cold.
