i really do like rockcliffe

had such a great day today - it was the rangers day out meaning that karl took us on a walk round the estate then over to rockcliffe to show us a bit of what his team manage over there and what kind of work they get up to. it isn't very often my days include seeing deer, red kite. full rainbows coming from castles, sitting in bird hides (although this is becoming more frequent!), tree ident games, foraging, identifying bird calls and admiring views of small islands from hill forts :-) totally amazing and inspiring!
