Norman

Emergency blip!
Not sure why MrC has called this wood pigeon Norman.
But he comes every day for his breakfast and tea.

Decided to start decorating the smallest room in the house.
The down stairs "loo" come cloakroom, wine cellar, boot and shoe storage, and tool room.
Wish I'd never started!
I suppose it will be worth it when it is finished.

We got some "proper" painters to do the outside windows.
Only took them yesterday and today, and have done a really good job.
Rubbed down, and filled in before they started painting.
They found the kitchen window had rotted at the bottom. They have filled it in, but will have to be replaced next year, but only needs a piece putting in, not a complete new window. That's a relief!
(They said it was mainly due to me watering the window box, and the water going all over the windowsill!)
(No PVC on our cottage as it is grade two listed.)
