Losing my Religion

Still in Syracuse today. Have spent most of the day just wandering around admiring the architecture and the churches (of which there are many) on the little island of Ortygie, which is the ancient origin of the city. The beautiful main square contains the cathedral, pictured here.
Lunch of pasta and wine beside the sea.

Tomorrow we hope to find a beach for our last 2 days.
