Quelque chose pour mon velo, s'il vous plait! is what I typed on to a sheet of paper 37 years ago. A photocopy of that line taken from my Best Man's speech at the wedding of my Best Man, Jim, reappeared on this bicyclette - a gift from Jim and his wife Jill who were our house guests this week. A lovely birthday gift and a happy souvenir of our epic cycling holiday through France in 1975 when it was not nearly so cool to cycle as it is these days! Jim and I met 41 years ago this month! Two years ago, my Best Man, Jim married our daughter! Four months ago, Jim baptised our wee grandson and they can be seen here! Happy days!
