Trip to the seaside

It was brother and sister's last full day here so we decided on a trip to the seaside. We started off at Cap Bear where the Tramontane was blowing a gale. We then found a more sheltered beach for a swim. The sea is cooling down but I found it quite acceptable once in. We then had mussels and chips and tapas at Port Vendres on the quay side followed by a drive along the coast to the Etang de Canet et de St Nazaire where there is a lot of fishing and bird activity. I saw some flamingos but still do not have my long lens so could not blip them. It was a full but tiring day. I hope I have enough in the tank for a quick game of badminton tonight.
