The Photographers

It is difficult to pick out an image to share for today as it was so full of delights. Ross's Swiss photographer friend Max turned up at our hotel while we were still having breakfast and took us out for the day. First we went on a funicular railway up to Niesen, where here you see the two of them dodging the rolling clouds to catch shots of the tops of the mountains. After lunch we went back to Kandersteg and up on the mini cable cars called gondolas to the Oechininsee, a delightful boating lake, where we had another stroll before catching the last gondola back to the hotel. I've got some lovely shots of Alpine flowers and of Lake Thun as well but for me the day is summed up by watching the two pros looking for the three second moments when the clouds had cleared.
