The Old Lady is still standing .. This bridge was built by General Wade in the mid 1700 , He was sent into Scotland by King George the 1st to build roads and bridges accross the country in an attempt to pacify the highlanders.. He considered this one of his very best ,as though to prove this point it is still in use to-day, dozens of cars cross it every day , it is only wide enough for one vehicle at a time and is controled by traffic lights ...
