Catching up on my reading ...

Thursday. So only 9 more sleeps and I'll be sitting on the plane to Germany. Before that there will be an aweful lot of packing going on this weekend. And I'm catching up with my good friend Bruce before he disappears to South Africa again and there will be an exhibition of my late landlord's paintings this weekend as well. No rest for the wicked :-)
P.S. the puppy came in with a rather delicate problem - had a piece of chicken bone stuck in his bottom ... just shows once again - bones and dogs are no match made in heaven!!! Thankfully we managed to remove it and he is going home to a very happy owner in a little while.
