Moon Fever

It sounds like several of us were victims of the "Perfect Shot - No Camera" syndrome.

After days of not seeing anything movable at all, I went to pick up Mom at Rosewild without my camera -- and saw deer, rabbits -- and most heart-breaking, a Cardinal in a picture-perfect position.

I was holding out for the Full Moon, but wasn't sure I could get it because of the overcast forecast. When the crucial time came, my P5's battery died but fortunately, I still have the Canon waiting around to be sold or whatever I decide to do with it. It really came through for me tonight and in Manual mode is SO much easier to use than the P5. I really hope this has to do with me just needing to study the P5 manual. Later, when the battery was charged, I took some similar shots with it. None of them worked -- except one that would be perfect for Halloween!!

They are still promising up to a couple of inches of rain on Friday -- but today will be hot and humid.
