North rim - Grand Canyon

After a relaxed start to the day, and a normal-timed breakfast, we were collected by two 4x4s and driven 60 miles along dirt roads and rocky offroading until we reached the North side of the Grand Canyon.

The route was amazing, but standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon, 2500 feet above the valley floor and only a few inches from the edge was an exciting time! it's amazing how a tripod and camera simply get rid of your fear of heights - I needed the right angle, so I put myself in the right position.  I even ended up standing at the end of the rock in the foreground right!

Had a wonderful evening meal at Kanab - booked another meal for tomorrow too!
