Rowing

Fond memories of similar Wednesday afternoons around a quarter of a century ago, where I was a member of the fledgling RGIT (now Robert Gordon University) Rowing team.

The new RGU boat house is to the right of this picture, but then we used Aberdeen Boat Club (The two triangular buildings) and their ancient boats.

I also used to cox my wife's team, not much wonder they didn't win with my mass at the back of the boat. Still there was a satisfaction of a team of girls, working hard, sweating away to pull me up and down the river, while I shouted at encouraged them.

Hospital a bit of waste of time, after travelling around a third of the world, the consultant decided to take the afternoon off.
